University of the Republic

UDELAR is the biggest university of Uruguay,  which hosts the EV UDELAR Goup, a research group specialized in hybrid and electric vehicles, which develops innovation, research and teaching projects in relation to electric mobility and charging infrastructure. The group has a laboratory for testing electric vehicle batteries, which allows testing and research on cells and battery packs, supercapacitors and battery management systems (BMS). Green hydrogen is also part of the studied matters.
