Urban Living Lab Center
Capacity building for the
transformation of urban mobility, energy, and resource sectors

The partnership brings together transformative projects and initiatives active in the field of decarbonizing cities and sustainable urban development. The Urban Living Lab Center is co-hosted by MIT, TU Berlin, the Wuppertal Institute and UN-Habitat. Regional and thematic hubs are hosted by partner universities and network partners.

Labs
Thematic Labs develop learning material for each of the core topics and contribute to the development of thesis and case study developments.

Hubs
Regional hubs facilitate blended- and in-person learning activities tailored for each region and act as training centers for academic and professional programs.

Training kit
The joint platform for trainers and educators provides access to capacity-building material on key aspects to accelerate the transition towards sustainable cities.
