Regional Hubs

Regional hubs have been developed for Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America in order to facilitate blended- and in-person learning activities tailored for each region as well as to act as training centers for academic and professional programs.

What we do

The Regional Hubs are instrumental in accelerating the deployment of sustainable urban development solutions at the local and regional level. They develop packages of measures to maximise co-benefits among key sectors, including energy and resources within a wider sustainable urban development concept. The main objective for the Hubs is to deliver trainings on business models and policy recommendations that help to create a maximum of co-benefits between air quality, climate change and other sustainable urban development goals. This provides excellent opportunities for applied research, learning, exchange and capacity building. The Hubs will also act as hosts for Masters and PhD students during their field work.
